Neutral and hypotonic, but generously mineralized with 177 mg/kg of metasilicic acid that leaves a thin silica film for noticeably smoother skin. The wellhead runs at 85.8 °C — among Japan's hottest natural sources — and the chemistry layers chloride saltiness with bicarbonate softness.
