A small communal bathhouse in a residential backstreet, a five-minute walk from JR Ito Station. Each side, men's and women's, has one indoor tub filled with clear, colorless onsen water that runs in continuously to stay fresh. There's no shower, just taps and buckets at the washing stations, so bring your own toiletries (towels are sold at the counter). It's part of Ito's Seven Lucky Gods bath circuit, shichifukujin no yu (七福神の湯), tied to Benzaiten, and mostly local regulars use it, in a well-worn old building.

236. 湯川第二浴場 弁天の湯, Ito An old-school onsen for 350. They stamp the Shizuoka 60 Onsens 24/25 rally book. Photos of the bath from the internet match reality. There is staff. Couldn't find the information board apparently. The bath has clear water, temperature 43.5. Breathing is fine.
