345. Gekkoen Yugetsusanso, Arima Onsen ★★ If you stay overnight at Gekkoen Korokan, you can use the onsen at Gekkoen Yugetsusanso without restrictions. It probably works the other way around too, but it is better to check on site. 1. The outdoor bath is outside, off to the side of the indoor bridge between Korokan and Yugetsusanso. The view of the "onsen river" from the bridge is nice. The bath is behind a fence and, in practice, has no view, but it is still great. The water is cloudy brown, and the temperature is 41-42. 2. The baths in Yugetsusanso itself. 2.1. The indoor bath has clear water, and the temperature is 40-41. It is easy to breathe. 2.2. The small outdoor bath has cloudy brown water, and the temperature is 39-40. Given the total number and quality of the baths, it is worth considering staying overnight to get access to the onsen through the Korokan + Yugetsusanso combo. Very much so. 05.01.2025 06.01.2025
