Every room at Kaichoro has a private garden rotenburo fed by the Shirogane no Yu (白銀の湯) spring, so you can soak whenever you like without leaving your quarters. Shared facilities in the adjoining Fukuichi building include indoor baths, an open-air bath, sauna, cold bath, and three reservable private baths. With only eight rooms and a policy of accepting guests aged 20 and over, the place stays quiet and unhurried. Kaichoro was carved out of the larger Fukuichi ryokan complex, giving it the bones of a historic inn with a more pared-back feel.
