Ryokan Yoshidaya sits along the Ureshino River in Saga Prefecture and has been running for over 90 years. The water here is what Ureshino is known for: noticeably silky and smooth on the skin. The main communal bath, Kumano-yu (熊野湯), has an open-air section where the outdoor tub is cut from a single 8-ton stone. Several private reserved baths (kashikiri, 貸切) offer different styles, including an earth-walled bath and a rock-built family tub. Some rooms come with their own onsen bath filled with the same spring water.
