Kameya Rakan is a hot-spring ryokan in Ito, facing the Sagami Sea. Four private open-air baths look out over the water, each a bit different: one has a roof that opens to the night sky, others are lined with Izu stone or a ceramic tub. Inside there are two more baths for a change of pace, one dim and cave-themed, one looking toward the town and the hills behind it, and guests staying overnight can also use a free family bath and the onsen water piped into their own room tub. The spring itself is a mild alkaline water, plain and gentle, the kind that leaves skin feeling smooth.
