64. BOSENKAN, Gero Onsen Went with a tegata for higaeri (listed from 18 to 20 on weekdays, 12 to 14 on weekends). Inside there's a main large hot+ bath and a shallow bath with just warm water. The outdoor stone bath has spots for lying down, water is hot. During cherry blossom season, the view from the bath is absolutely ultimate — about 50% of the visual space (not counting the canopy and the bath itself) was filled with lush cherry blossoms. I haven't seen a more powerful sakura view from any onsen. Water everywhere is clear. The changing room has a nice chill zone with chairs and footrests. During cherry blossom season this bath is a must-visit. I think it would be very hard to find a more impressive sakura view from a bath.
