Hotel Lalba Suwako is a small inn on the shore of Lake Suwa, part of Kamisuwa Onsen. It has two indoor baths, Ichi-no-yu (一の湯) and Ni-no-yu (二の湯), fed by source water that runs kakenagashi, kept flowing fresh rather than diluted or recirculated; the two rooms switch between men and women through the day. A private bath is sometimes available too, depending on how busy the day is. Rooms on the lake side look out over Suwa's calm water, and guests often describe the building itself as plain and unpretentious, an older place that has kept its character.
