Yuyado Ichibanchi (湯宿一番地) draws its water from two in-house springs, Kimi-no-yu (きみの湯) and Taiho-no-yu (大鳳の湯), blended and kept free-flowing (kakenagashi, 源泉掛け流し). The water feels soft and smooth, easy to stay in. There are two large communal baths, Basho-no-yu (芭蕉の湯) and Momiji-no-yu (紅葉の湯), which swap gender sides each evening, plus an open-air section and two private outdoor tubs, Kanichi-no-yu (貫一の湯) and Omiya-no-yu (お宮の湯), bookable by the hour. Some rooms also have their own rotenburo (露天風呂) fed by the same source. The ryokan was previously known as Shihomiya Ryokan (志ほみや旅館) and sits just a few minutes from Atami station, with sea-view rooms facing Sagami Bay.
