Last entry for day-use bathing is 15:00, one hour before the 16:00 close.
Adult day-use is 800 yen on weekdays and 1000 yen on weekends and holidays; children aged 6 to 11 are 400 yen on weekdays and 700 yen on weekends and holidays. A small towel is sold for 200 yen, and a large towel can be rented for 150 yen.

MountainsKAMENOI HOTEL ARIMA has its own onsen source on the property, Atagoyama Sengen (愛宕山泉源), which feeds the reddish-gold, iron-rich kinsen (金泉) water Arima is known for, kept flowing fresh, kakenagashi (掛け流し). The shared indoor bath was renovated in August 2025; reviewers mention a washing area with plenty of room and skin that stays warm long after getting out. A handful of premium Japanese-Western rooms added in the same renovation each have their own private bath filled with the same source water. On weekends and holidays, the restaurant flora also has reservation-only day-use lunch plans paired with a soak. The hotel keeps a relaxed, homely feel and looks out over the surrounding hills; it used to run as a Kampo no Yado (かんぽの宿) public inn before Kamenoi Hotel (亀の井ホテル) took it over.

348. Kamenoi Hotel, Arima Onsen ★ I went for a higaeri for ¥800 (listed as 11:00 to 16:00). There were a lot of old men when I visited. The bath photo from the internet matches. Inside there is one bath. The water is cloudy brown, and the temperature is 40. Breathing is tolerable. Soft traditional Asian music was playing. You can stop by on the way for a higaeri, just keep that in mind. 06.01.2025
