The garden rotenburo on the first floor sits right at the edge of Lake Akan, low enough that the water surface and the bath feel like they are at the same level. The basement large bath has hinoki, a cave bath, a log bath, a Japanese jacuzzi, a sleeping bath, and a walking bath. Up on the eighth floor, the observation bath looks out over the lake and the Akan mountain range, with a dome-shaped sauna on the rooftop added in a recent renovation. A separate ganbanyoku (岩盤浴, heated stone bath) facility is free for overnight guests. The Bekkan annex rooms have in-room onsen baths. Day use is available.
