268. Sessokyo Onsen Forest Open-air Bath Visited for higaeri, listed hours 10:00–20:00. Located near the local station. Had to wait for the old lady in the evening, but she came and let us in. Used to be part of the Yuragi tegata — they even let us in on the tegata for higaeri, but stamped with a random stamp. Indoor bath with clear water, soapy effect, temperature 40. The outdoor bath was partially closed, which didn't stop us. During the day there would likely be a pleasant tree view. Clear water, soapy effect, temperature 40. If you've already made it this far out, the onsen is worth a visit.
