Kashoutei Hanaya is a compact, 21-room ryokan in Noboribetsu Onsen with an indoor bath and a small outdoor rotenburo, both filled around the clock with sulfur water straight from the source. The indoor bath has large windows that look out on Noboribetsu's changing seasons. One guest room, Botan, has its own natural onsen tub built in. Dinner and breakfast are both served in the room rather than in a hall, and the inn is small enough that big tour groups are rare, guests describe it as quiet and easy to relax in.
