Adult day-use bathing is ¥600 (raised from ¥550 as of January 4, 2024), with a discounted midday rate, hiruwari (昼割), of ¥450 (up from ¥400). Multi-visit ticket books are also sold, ¥3,100 for the regular rate and ¥2,250 for the midday version.

Uses natural hot spring water
Corroborated by a separate reviewer noting a sodium-chloride spring type near the sea. One reviewer also noted a slight chlorine smell in the main building's bath (vs. a separate cottage building said to be fully source-fed) — this kakenagashi nuance is not one of our tracked feature types.
Open-air outdoor bath
A detailed June-2026 reviewer states the bath labeled 露天風呂 has no actual open-air area (attributed to the cold climate) — treated as effectively no true outdoor bath. Not confirmed either way by the official site.

Hamatonbetsu Spa WING is a town-run onsen hotel with two indoor baths, both open to day visitors as well as overnight guests. One is filled with natural onsen water that has a little color, a faint iodine-like smell, and leaves the skin feeling smooth; the other is plain heated water. There's also a sauna, a properly cold plunge bath, a foot bath out on the grounds, and a rest area right by the baths. The hotel sits on the shore of Lake Kutcharo, a Ramsar-listed wetland known as a wintering ground for tundra swans, and the dining room looks out over the water toward the sunset.
