A blend of two Nozawa wells, Ōkama and Ontake, feeding an alkaline simple sulfur spring. The water runs colorless and clear yet carries an unmistakable hydrogen sulfide note, backed by 15.7 mg/kg of hydrogen sulfide ion, comfortably past the sulfur-spring threshold. At pH 8.83 it is alkaline and soft on the skin, squarely in Japan's beauty-water family, and a generous 119 mg/kg of metasilicic acid leaves the kind of silica film that makes skin feel smoother afterwards. The source emerges at 76.0 °C, among Japan's hottest, while dissolved solids stay light at 998 mg/kg, so the water reads gentle rather than heavy.
