About
Akiha-no-Yu (秋葉の湯) is one of the 13 sotoyu (外湯) communal baths that make up Nozawa Onsen's village bathing network. There's a single indoor pool fed by hot sulfur spring water running fresh in kakenagashi style. The building is plain and functional, without the wooden charm of some other sotoyu, but the water is the real thing. Entry is free, with a donation box by the door.
