Yawaragi-no-sato Yadoya is an 18-room ryokan in Yufuin, close to the Yunotsubo shopping street and Kinrin Lake, with Yufu-dake in view. All six baths run off the same natural spring and are kept flowing fresh: two gender-separated indoor baths, each with a hot tub and a cooler one, plus four reservable private baths. One pairs an indoor tub with a rotenburo, one opens onto the night sky, and one has a Goemon-gama (五右衛門釜), a cauldron-style tub, among its three tubs; the fourth is a barrier-free indoor bath built for wheelchair use. The water itself is plain, clear, and odorless. Bathing here is for staying guests only. The inn's simple, universal-design rooms bring back a lot of repeat guests, and Jalan users voted it the best ryokan to stay at in Kyushu in 2021.
