About
Hanafubuki spreads across a forested estate on the Izu Kogen plateau, with 20 guest rooms in four separate cottages and nine private baths tucked among the trees. All nine are kashikiri (貸切, private-use) and need no reservation, so guests can slip in whenever they like. Most draw directly from a sulfate-chloride spring 300 meters away and run as free-flowing kakenagashi. The baths vary in character: some are built in cypress, others use Izu stone, and a pair in the Manyo wing open onto a garden of white pebbles. Day visitors can book one bath for a 50-minute soak.
