Fukinoya sits on a slight rise in the Yufuin basin, with views of Mt. Yufu from the upper rooms. All five baths are private (kashikiri, 貸切), running kakenagashi (源泉掛け流し, free-flowing spring water) with water that is clear and notably soft on the skin. Three open-air rotenburo are free to use whenever unlocked; two further private baths can be reserved at check-in. The detached cottage rooms each have their own outdoor and indoor bath. Guests can also use a cypress-built foot bath at no extra charge. The baths are for overnight guests only.
