A sodium-calcium chloride spring served at Kounoyu, blended in a tank from four separate wells (Nos. 27, 28, 29 and 30). Neutral in pH and salty, it is a heat-retaining chloride water that keeps the body warm after the bath. It carries a generous 87 mg/kg of metasilicic acid, leaving a thin silica film for noticeably smoother skin, and is classified as a hypotonic high-temperature spring.
