Sakaya Hanare Jonnobi (さかや-はなれ- 寿命延) is the cottage annex of the long-established Ryokan Sakaya in Nozawa Onsen village. Guests stay in freestanding units with a full kitchen and use the main ryokan's baths, which draw from the property's own sulfur spring. There are separate large indoor baths for men and women, an open-air rotenburo adjoining each, a sauna with a natural cold plunge, and a private reserved bath with a cave-like atmosphere. On the hanare grounds, the kakenagashi open-air spa Kame-no-yu (亀の湯) is open as a mixed-bathing soak with swimwear on.
