About

Yoroduya is a 28-room ryokan in Yudanaka onsen, built around two separate bathhouses that alternate between men's and women's use through the day: Momoyama-buro (桃山風呂), a garden bath registered as a cultural property, and Shinonome-buro (東雲風呂), the other bathhouse. The water is salty and feels smooth on the skin. General bathing here is for overnight guests only. Day visitors can instead book Bon, a separate paid spa with two styles of sauna (loyly and steam), a cold bath, and a private onsen bath, in timed slots. The building has a wood-built, temple-like exterior and a tall, open lobby, giving it an old-fashioned ryokan feel throughout.
