YesSame-day day-use reception closes at 18:00, even though the bath itself is open 16:00 to 23:00. No reservation is needed, but the bath can occasionally close for a private booking or an equipment check, so it's worth calling ahead to confirm.
The 1,100 yen day-use fee includes free rental of face and bath towels, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, and hair-dryer use. A dinner set (1,100 yen bathing plus 3,300 yen dinner) can be added, but must be booked by the day before.

About
Aisonet Kusatsu is a small, six-room lodge in the hot-spring town of Kusatsu. The outdoor bath, separate for men and women, holds clear, mildly acidic spring water; there's also a separate indoor bath treated with bamboo charcoal (not spring water) and a sauna. Day-use bathing runs in the afternoon and evening, with towels and shampoo included, and dinner (an Italian-style course) or breakfast (a Japanese set) can be added for both overnight guests and day visitors. The lodge is run directly by Shiki Club (四季倶楽部), a resort membership group; despite the 'club' name, anyone can book a room or a soak here.
