Choyo Resort Hotel runs two separate bathing halls, Tori no Koe (鳥の声) and Kawa no Sasayaki (川の囁き), each with an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. The water comes in two colors: a milky white sulfur spring in both halls, with a faint sulfur smell, and a separate reddish-brown spring only at Kawa no Sasayaki. The open-air bath at Tori no Koe was renewed in 2024. Downstairs, a relaxation floor called Yururu (ゆるる) adds four private baths and a rock-bed sauna (ganbanyoku). Big windows look out on the forest, and the hotel itself sits in the Sounkyo gorge along the Ishikari river.
