Yamaboshi (山ぼうし) draws its water from a spring on the property. The water is clear and light on the skin, flowing fresh without recirculation. There are gender-separated indoor and outdoor baths, and on clear days the rotenburo (露天風呂) looks out toward Mt. Yufu. A private family bath, the kashikiri-yu (貸切湯), can be reserved in 45-minute sessions for couples or families. Rooms come in tatami or Western style, none with an in-room bath.
