About
New Hoshiba is a small, family-run minshuku (民宿) a few minutes' drive from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, with two of the village's public bathhouses (外湯) within walking distance. The inn's own bath, once separate men's and women's rooms, is now kept as a private, reservable bath, about 45 minutes per group. Dinners are home-style, built around vegetables the family grows itself, and guests often mention the house cat at the front desk.
