The outdoor baths here look out over Lake Shinji (宍道湖, Shinjiko), and the hotel is the only one in Tamatsukuri onsen town with that position. The spring water, piped from the source at the neighboring sister inn Chorakuen (長楽園), is known locally for leaving skin smooth and soft. Both separate outdoor baths and indoor baths are available, and each guest room also has its own natural-spring bath. Day-use bathing is open to non-guests as well. Staying guests can also access the large mixed-bathing rotenburo at Chorakuen for a small additional fee.
