Yurari Rokumyo is a small ryokan near JR Yufuin Station made up of just five detached cottages, each built around its own private onsen bath. Two of the cottages have a rock open-air bath and the rest a hinoki (cypress) indoor tub, and all of them run on 100% natural onsen water kept flowing fresh around the clock. A 2026 renovation gave every room its own sauna as well. Guests can also use one shared family bath on a wooden occupied/vacant placard system, open into the evening and again at dawn. There is no in-house restaurant (dinner comes as a delivered bento, or staff point you to places nearby), so a stay here feels quiet and self-contained, with Mount Yufu visible from the baths.
