About

Haginoya has three separate bathing floors: an eighth-floor bath overlooking the pine coast and the Senami hot-spring town, a cypress seventh-floor bath called Netsu-no-yu (熱の湯) that stays open all night, and a third-floor bath, along with a dry sauna and a steam sauna. Fifteen of the rooms, in three styles, come with their own private open-air bath filled with the hotel's onsen water; the rest are standard twin and washitsu rooms. It's a salty spring, and guests often mention how smooth and soft it leaves their skin. Senami's hot spring was found by accident in 1904, while drilling for oil, and its source still rises on the high ground right behind Haginoya, making this the inn closest to it.
