Yufuin Kahori no Sato Hanamura is a 29-room ryokan on the Yunotsubo-kaido (湯の坪街道), Yufuin's main street between the station and Kinrin Lake. Baths are split by gender, each side with its own indoor tub and rotenburo, called Suzume-no-yu (すずめの湯) for women and Usagi-no-yu (うさぎの湯) for men, and the women's side adds a sauna. Two private family baths are free for staying guests any time of night, and a few rooms have their own outdoor tub in Shigaraki-yaki (信楽焼) pottery, with a view toward Mt. Yufu on clear days. The spring itself is a mild, simple water that guests say leaves the skin feeling smooth. The inn is built around women traveling alone or with friends, with themed rooms and plenty of small decorative touches around the building, and reviewers note the building has some age to it but is kept very clean.
