Outdoor large rectangular bath. The water is cloudy white-blue, with lime deposits. Temperature: 44.5-45.5. 2. Indoor bath. The water is cloudy white-blue, with lime deposits. Temperature: 42. It is comfortable to breathe inside. A very atmospheric place. Very old and timeworn, but in a good way. Recommended to visit. 15.01.2026

The star here is a large mixed open-air bath (konyoku rotenburo, 混浴露天風呂) filled with milky bluish-white sulfur water, high up in the Manza Onsen area. The spring flows in unfiltered and the colour and texture of the water draw people back repeatedly. A separate women-only open-air bath is also available. The inn is simple and a little dated, but the water is the whole point.
