Bettei Yaeno is a four-room ryokan at the foot of Mt. Tanigawa in Minakami, built as separate cottage-style rooms. There's no shared bath here: each room has its own semi-open-air onsen tub, and the water is soft and gentle on the skin. Breakfast and dinner are also brought to the room, so a stay can pass without ever leaving your own quarters. The cottages sit spaced apart along a quiet corridor among greenery, and the inn only takes overnight guests with two meals, no day-use bathing.
