Maille Coeur Shougetsu is a hot-spring hotel in Hakone-Yumoto built around women guests. The indoor bath is gender-separated and deep enough to stretch your legs out in, while two Japanese-garden-style rotenburo, Biraku-no-yu (美楽の湯) and Kiraku-no-yu (喜楽の湯), one with an outdoor jacuzzi, swap between the men's and women's side every morning and evening, so a single overnight stay lets you try both. There's an indoor sauna next to the baths, and the spring water is clear and mild, promoted here as gentle on the skin. A couple of the specialty guest rooms also come with their own private open-air tub.
