Tamatsukuri Onsen (玉造温泉, Tamatsukuri Onsen) in Shimane has long been called the skin-softening spring, and OQOQ sits right in the heart of the spa town. The baths cover a garden-view rotenburo, large indoor halls for men and women, a cypress jet bath, dry and mist saunas, and a foot bath area at the front gate that uses fresh spring water. The water is soft and slightly alkaline, leaving skin smooth after a soak. The ryokan runs on an all-inclusive model, with meals, drinks and activities folded into the room rate. Families are well catered for, with a dedicated kids space and infant amenities included. The property was formerly known as Tamai Bekkan and relaunched as RYOKAN OQOQ in September 2025.
