Gensennoyado Yumotokan

Yumotokan is a good-sized ryokan in Gero Onsen with about fifty guest rooms. Its large baths are separate for men and women, each a natural rock bath fed straight from the hot spring and kept running fresh rather than recirculated. The water feels smooth on the skin. There's no open-air bath here, and the baths are for overnight guests only. Day-use bathing isn't available. The inn's name, Gensen no Yado (源泉の宿), means "inn of the source," fitting for a place that prides itself on piping its own spring straight into the tubs.
