YesOpen seasonally, roughly early July through the end of October (closed in winter). Last entry is at 19:30, with closing at 20:00. In 2026 it was also closed for maintenance on July 10, 21, and 22.
Cash only; cards, e-money, and QR payments aren't accepted. Adults 500 yen, children 250 yen. A towel can be bought for 200 yen, a razor for 50 yen, and laundry soap for 50 yen; bath towels aren't available to rent.

Yuhidai-no-yu (夕陽台の湯) is a small, town-run day-use bath on a hill above Utoro on the Shiretoko coast. It has one indoor bath and one open-air bath per gender, with shower stations along the wall. The water comes out cloudy and pale amber, with a faint mineral smell and a mild salty taste, and leaves skin feeling a little smooth afterward. The open-air bath sits right at the edge of a cliff, and through the trees you can catch a glimpse of the sea and the harbor below, with a sea breeze drifting up. Despite the name, which means 'sunset hill,' the trees actually block the sunset itself. It's a plain, no-frills bathhouse used mostly by locals, campers from a nearby campground, and travelers passing through Shiretoko.
