SAZANA is the annex of a two-building hot spring inn on the Inatori coast in Izu, done up with a Balinese-style interior. The spring water is clear and salty, close to seawater, and is said to keep bathers warm long after they towel off. The shared indoor bath is plain and communal, while two reservable private baths add the ocean view: an open-air bath often recommended for couples, and an indoor observation bath built with wheelchair access. Some guest rooms come with their own private open-air bath, and there is a small pool in the garden over summer. A quiet lounge looks out over the water for anyone who would rather just sit and watch the sea.
