オーシャンビュー・ヴィラ・ジェイズ

Ocean View Villa Jaiz is a small hilltop stay above Ito, on the Izu Peninsula, built around five baths, three open-air and two indoor, each used by one party at a time rather than shared. The water is a clear, colorless natural onsen. One open-air bath is half-roofed, so you can soak through rain or wind while looking out at the sea; the one on the same floor as the main building's rooms has the widest sea view and is the most popular; another faces Mt. Fuji and, on clear nights, a sky full of stars. Of the two indoor baths, one uses Izu stone for a plain, Japanese feel, the other leans Balinese, with an Asian scent in the air. Two detached villas, BALI-an and Fujiyama, each have their own private indoor and open-air bath: BALI-an's looks toward Hatsushima island, Fujiyama's toward the town, the sea, and Fuji. The drive up is steep and narrow, something past guests mention, but it ends at a wide view over Ito's coastline and, after dark, the town's lights below.
