This is a large Itoen-chain hotel above the Kinugawa river, mixing water from two source springs into one alkaline bath that's colorless and smooth on the skin. The main building has an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna, and four private (kashikiri) baths in the annex are free if you book a same-day slot at the front desk. Upper-floor rooms in the main building face the Kinugawa gorge, and the hotel is built around a big buffet and free extras like karaoke and billiards rather than any particular history.
