Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Besso Moku no Sho

Moku no Sho is a ryokan-hotel in the Niseko Konbu onsen area, with 24 rooms total. Ten of them are suites with their own open-air onsen bath on the deck, one of those paired with a private sauna, and two more room types swap the open-air tub for an indoor bath with a view instead. Downstairs, separate-sex communal baths, Meisen no Yu (命泉の湯), each pair an indoor bath with a rotenburo and a sauna, and a reservable private family bath, Wasen no Yu (和泉の湯), looks out over the forest and the Niseko Anbetsu river. The spring itself is a chloride-type water, smooth on the skin. Inside, the building leans on pale wood, with a double-height lounge built around a fireplace, big andon-style lamps overhead, and a small library corner. A footbath deck outside (closed in winter) sits within earshot of the Niseko Anbetsu river and Momiji Falls. Dinner and breakfast are both served at the in-house restaurant, Shorai (松籟).
