Last entry for walk-in bathing (tachiyoriyu) is 18:00, an hour before the bath closes. The bath is normally closed Monday and Tuesday, but when Monday falls on a public holiday it stays open that day and closes instead on the Wednesday of that week.

Adult 1,300 yen; child ages 5 to 12 is 700 yen; child ages 3 to 4 is 400 yen. Walk-in bathing (tachiyoriyu) is cash only. A bath towel rents for 150 yen, or a face towel can be bought for 150 yen, both extra.

A simple radon spring of Arima's silver-water (ginsen) tradition. The wellhead is cold at 18.2 °C, neutral pH 7.35, colorless and transparent, tasteless and odorless. Radon registers at a high 1,900 Bq/kg (about 140 mache units), placing it firmly in the radon-hormesis family; the source is reheated for bathing.

Koki sits beside the Ariake source (有明泉源) in the middle of Arima Onsen, and its indoor baths draw on both of the area's two waters: the iron-rich, reddish kinsen (金泉) and the clearer, radium-bearing ginsen (銀泉). Reviewers mention moving between the two in the same soak. Four private (kashikiri) baths use ginsen water only, on 45-minute reserved sessions for overnight and day-use guests; walk-in bathers can use the shared indoor baths but not the private ones. It's a small, room-only (sudomari) ryokan with a courtyard and a quiet, unpretentious feel, and no meals are served, though restaurants are a two or three minute walk away. Overnight and day-use room stays aren't open to children 12 and under, though walk-in bathing welcomes them.

340. Koki, Arima Onsen I went for a higaeri for ¥1,300 without a towel (listed as 09:30~19:00). There are private baths, but I did not use them. Inside: - a small bath with clear water, temperature 42; - a small bath with cloudy brown water and bubbles, temperature 43. The air inside is good to breathe. For ¥1,300, the baths are very modest. It is of course not worth that money, but otherwise it is a simple, cozy place. 05.01.2025
