An iron-bearing simple cold-mineral spring (14.4 C at the wellhead), heated for bathing in the classic cold-mineral fashion. Iron(II) at 21.6 mg/kg oxidizes on air contact, painting the bath the characteristic rust-red of an akayu (red-water) source. Light overall mineralization at 269 mg/kg, but the iron carries the entire experience — water arrives clear at the spout and stains the tub reddish-brown.
Good for
Recovery
Warmth and buoyancy lower stress markers and improve sleep; habitual bathing is linked to lower rates of depression.
