Oritate Onsen Ryokan Choja

A small, older ryokan in Oritate Onsen (折立温泉), in Uonuma. The bath is a large indoor bath filled with natural onsen water, on the lower floor. Guests tend to describe the water as mild rather than hot, the kind you can stay in for a long time. The building shows its age, but it is kept clean and has a homey feel. Meals are country home cooking built around local Uonuma ingredients, and some rooms look out toward the mountains.
