Pension Moomin Papa

A small, family-run pension in the Ikenotaira onsen area of Myoko, popular with people who come for the snow. The onsen bath is in a separate building directly across the road, and it is for staying guests only: you get the key, or ask the owners when you want to bathe. Guests describe soft, smooth water, and the heat changes from day to day. The pension has a drying room for ski and snowboard gear, a car park, and Moomin goods around the place. Dinner is served course by course and breakfast is Western style.
