Egotayu

A fully renovated sento (September 2021) about ten minutes from Shin-egota Station in Nakano, designed by architect Kentaro Imai around a geological theme that makes use of its basement setting to evoke being inside the earth. It offers a spacious carbonated-spring bath plus jet baths, a seated bath, an electric (denki-buro) bath, and a sauna, all using skin-friendly soft water. The cold-water bath is lit blue for a cooler feel, and a medicinal bath runs on Thursdays and Sundays.
