A hot (80.9 °C) sodium sulfate-chloride spring with weakly alkaline pH 8.3 and a soft, slipper-on-the-skin feel. Metasilicic acid at 296.6 mg/kg leaves a thin silica film that visibly smooths the skin, while the sulfate body and saline edge give the water a quiet weight typical of a Kurokawa-area cert.

Warmth eases stiffness and raises the pain threshold. Radon and sulfate springs show the strongest evidence for joint and muscle pain.

Skin-absorbed CO₂ and hydrogen sulfide relax the vessel walls; carbon-dioxide springs can raise peripheral blood flow several-fold.

A hot (80.8 °C) sodium bicarbonate-sulfate-chloride spring — soda-water softness layered with sulfate body and a saline edge. Weakly acidic at pH 6.6, with a faint metallic iron note and a whiff of hydrogen sulfide. Metasilicic acid at 163.8 mg/kg and free CO2 around 166 mg/kg give the water perceptible weight on the skin.
