Mikaguraso is a day-use bath (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) in Aga, Niigata, with a large indoor bath of natural hot spring water. The building looks over a mountain stream and the hamlet around it. After the bath there is a rest room, a big tatami hall, private rooms you can use, and a small shop. Soap and shampoo are at the washing stations. There is no lodging now, and the open-air bath is currently out of service, so go for the indoor bath. It is run by the local tourism association, and closures can come up, so it is worth checking ahead.
