This ryokan sits on the Echizen coast in Fukui, drawing on the sodium-rich water of the local Echizen Nanbu onsen. The main indoor bath looks out over the Sea of Japan, and rooms in the Matsu-Sekian wing come with their own half-open-air tub fed by the same source water. A reservation-only private bath with a jet function is also available. The water is soft and smooth on the skin, and staff have baby gear on hand for guests traveling with infants.
