Daisan Tamano-yu

A Shinjuku Ward sento renovated and reopened in November 2018 with a new high-concentration carbonated (tansansen) bath and a rotenburo (open-air bath). It is popular for its powerful jets and a well-chilled cold plunge, and also has bubbling (vibra), electric (denki-buro) and seated baths, a sauna and late-night hours. The bath welcomes sento runners and can hold luggage temporarily. It is about a 5-minute walk from Ushigome-Kagurazaka Station on the Toei Oedo Line, and runs along Okubo-dori.
