バイパスサウナ
Dry sauna above a roadside drive-in in Nihonmatsu
Cold water plunge bath, typically used after sauna
A restaurant or dining room open to visitors, not only meals for overnight guests
Shower, wash stations, soap and shampoo provided
Towels to rent or borrow at the desk
Relaxation space for after bathing
A sauna on the second floor of the Nihonmatsu Bypass Drive-in. The bathroom is simple: one dry sauna, one tub and one cold plunge, with running tap water in the plunge rather than chilled water. Shampoo and body soap are set out, towels can be rented, and there is a reclining rest room to doze in afterward. The diner downstairs is part of the routine, a bite first and then the sauna. The building is old and reads as a roadside place rather than a spa.
