Taisei-yu

A traditional temple-style sento in Futaba, Shinagawa Ward, where the old attendant's platform has been replaced by a front desk. Under a high, open ceiling, bathers can soak in a large tub while looking out at the garden for a leisurely break. The water is heated by firewood. It is about seven minutes from Shimo-Shimmei Station, or about five minutes from Nishi-Oi Station on the Yokosuka Line.
